Chris Miller

Chris was raised in Derwood, Maryland, and now lives in Olney with his family. He studied environmental resource management at Virginia Tech, with a minor in forestry, then spent years as a certified arborist and Maryland-licensed tree expert.

With his brother and longtime partners, he helped build Lone Oak Farm Brewing and Fallen Oak Distilling on nearly 30 acres in Olney — a farm destination rooted in community, craft, and the outdoors. Faith, family, and building things that bring people together guide how he works.

Joshua Mughogho

Joshua was born and raised in Malawi. After studying at Rhodes University in South Africa and working in Malawi’s public and private sectors, he moved to the United States in 2023 for a master’s in financial economics at Bowling Green State University.

In 2024 he built his first product — starting with no-code, then directing AI agents and working alongside engineers. That path led to Peacemakers, a faith-based community app, and the work he does today. He moved to Maryland in September 2024. Outside of building, he cares about reading, economic development, and letting his faith shape everything he produces.

Maverick Durant

Maverick was born and raised in Olney, Maryland, and earned a computer science degree from the University of Maryland. He loves building software that feels clear and useful — from first idea to something people can actually open and use every day.

Outside of work he’s deep into fitness: running, lifting, swimming, and biking. He’s also organized community blood drives in partnership with the American Red Cross, bringing neighbors together around something that helps people when it matters most.
